About

KICO Sacco was founded way back in 1997 as an in-house Sacco for staff members of Kirundi and Co. Advocates hence the name KICO Staff Sacco. Later, the Sacco opened its doors to accommodate non-staff members but restricted this to referrals by existing members only. In 2015, the Sacco changed its name to KICO Co-operative Society Ltd and opened its doors further to members from various sectors.
In 2021, the Sacco was registered by SASRA and operates within parameters laid by the regulator.
