Insignia Group Limited was established in 2009 as Insignia Limited (motor vehicles sales) which specialized with importation of Japanese, Ex-UK and German vehicles for the Kenyan market. In August 2013 after a special resolution, Insignia Limited changed its name to Insignia Group Limited due to the fact that its customer base had expanded and there was need to accommodate the growing needs of its clientele.
