About
Hello, my name is Miaron Billy, I am a Kenyan Documentary Photographer and photojournalist and founder of Best Moment Pictures (bmpicz). I am a storyteller born and bred along the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro, in a small town called Loitokitok in the Amboseli Ecosystem of Rift Valley Kenya. Photography is my language and my camera is my tool. I consider the camera as an extension of my body and mind. For the last 7 years, I have been traveling the world telling stories of the people, animals, plants, and everything we interact with.
With extensive experience in different fields of photography, my passion for photography lies in Action/Sports and Documentary photography with a deeper interest in environmental conservation.
I have worked with WHO, Netherlands Embassy, Goodwell Inv, NOOR Images, Africa Health Population Research Centre, NHIF, SportPesa, VSO and many other organizations. I am also a certified Red bull Sports Photographer and for the last 5 years I have been working among the Elite Team of Red Bull Global Sports Photographers.
I am also the founder of ISO 100 Club, a photography community of over 400 members, where our goal is to inspire and help Photographers to create more impactful Images and earn from their skills while telling the stories of their communities.
My idea is to use my images to tell a story of not only how a moment looked like, but also how it felt, I am attracted to the emotions of life.
This website is a brief portfolio showcasing what I have done so far and why I am the right person to create impactful images for you that will tell stories that last for years.
